What it does

This gateway connects your Google Contacts to Yealink phones that support a remote phonebook (XML URL). Your phone fetches the directory from a secure, per-device URL so contacts stay in sync without manual uploads.

How it works

  1. Sign in with Google — We only read your contacts (read-only). Your data stays in your Google account and in our secure cache.
  2. Register your Yealink device — Add your phone in the app and get a unique phonebook URL and secret token.
  3. Configure the phone — In the Yealink menu, set the remote phonebook URL and token. Optional IP allowlist adds extra protection.
  4. Sync — Run a sync (manual or scheduled) to refresh the cached phonebook. Your phone will see updated contacts on its next fetch.

Why use it

  • One place for contacts: keep Google as the source of truth.
  • No manual CSV uploads; the phonebook updates when you sync.
  • Per-device URLs and tokens, with optional IP allowlisting.
  • Your refresh token is stored encrypted; we only use it to read contacts.
